Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 21, 2025

Feedbot (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to our website/app and to the Feedbot Chrome extension (together, the “Services”).

What we collect

  • Account email only. When you sign in with Google, we receive and store your Google account email to create and maintain your account. We don’t collect your name, contacts, or any other profile data unless you explicitly give it to us.

  • No WhatsApp data. We do not collect, store, or transmit your WhatsApp messages, media, contacts, groups, or activity. Processing related to WhatsApp happens locally on your device/browser.

Where processing happens

  • Client-side by design. Message preparation, sending, templating, and automations run on your device/browser. We don’t route your WhatsApp content through our servers. If you choose to connect your own systems (e.g., via your CRM or webhook you control), any data flow is between your systems and WhatsApp; our servers still don’t store your WhatsApp content. (Your knowledge base mentions optional API/webhooks—these are customer-controlled integrations.) (FeedBot)

How we use your email

  • To create and secure your account, provide support, and send essential service notices (e.g., login emails, critical updates).

  • We don’t sell or rent your data. We don’t use your email for unrelated marketing unless you explicitly opt-in.

Chrome extension data

  • The extension operates on pages you open (e.g., web.whatsapp.com) to help you perform actions you request (bulk send, schedules, etc.). Content accessed by the extension is processed locally and isn’t uploaded to us. The extension belongs to FeedBack Software LTD (as listed in the Chrome Web Store). (Chrome Web Store)

Independent from WhatsApp

Feedbot is an independent platform and is not affiliated with WhatsApp Inc. or Meta. You must follow WhatsApp’s terms and applicable anti-spam laws when using our Services. (FeedBot)

Data retention

  • We keep your account email while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove it, we delete your email from our active systems within a reasonable period unless the law requires retention.

Security

  • We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the minimal data we hold (your email). No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data (your account email). Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

Our Services are not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child provided us an email, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post an updated version with a new effective date.

2) What Feedbot does—and doesn’t

  • Feedbot provides tools to help you send and manage WhatsApp communications from your device/browser.

  • Client-side operation: Message handling and automations run locally on your device; we don’t store your WhatsApp content or contacts.

4) Integrations & APIs

If you connect your own systems (e.g., CRM, webhooks) to trigger messages, you control those systems and the data flows. You are responsible for data sent through your integrations. (FeedBot)

5) Availability & changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
